Leadership, as depicted in this footage, is not as effortless as it may seem. My frustration often reaches its peak when working and trying to convey my needs. However, removing my mother from these moments helps bring her ideas and gifts to the forefront, even when I don’t fully trust her vision. True leaders encourage others to grow, even when controlling what we are accustomed to feels more comfortable.

I believe this is the most challenging aspect of cultivating. In all honesty, she cannot be me because God designed her to be her own unique person.

There’s usually a fight when strongholds are present. They have complete control over what I have now versus what I can become later.

Just because it’s not hurting you doesn’t make it right.
